Here is some information about my background, my philosophy, and why I have a passion for real estate...

My name is Jennifer Moore James.  I have lived in Mechanicsville all my life.  I graduated from Old Dominion University with a BS in Occupational and Technical Studies with emphasis in Adult Education.  I was a corporate trainer for a major corporation for six years and decided that my heart was no longer in it.  My Husband & I had bought and sold a few homes and had great experiences.  In January of 2002 I started on my journey into Real Estate and have never looked back.   This is a very rewarding career and I could not imagine doing anything else.  I have a very supportive husband, Chad; and two wonderful children, Zachary age 7 and Brooke age 5.  We presently reside in Mechanicsville, as well as the rest of my family.

My background in Education is what allows me to offer that "personal" touch to all my clients, whether you are a first-time home owner or an experienced buyer/seller.   I strive to make communication of the buying and selling process as uncomplicated as possible.  I have a very hands-on approach with my client´s transactions and handle all the details, so you won´t have to. 

 I have the experience, knowledge and energy to give you the excellent service you deserve from a Realtor. I realize that not all Realtors are the same or transactions the same. Everyone's transaction is unique. I will make your real estate experience pleasant in every possible way and provide you the time and attention you will need to ensure you are comfortable with your real estate decisions. I am a Realtor on the cutting edge of our industry and provide a "fresh alternative" to the traditional Realtor of the past.

When working to find your dream home I will listen closely to the list of things that are important to you in a home, and make every effort to find properties that fit your needs.  When marketing your home, I am in touch with potential buyers and their agents, this allows for frequent market position updates, feedback, and changes in the market.  I use the most state of the art technology, for sellers to expose your home to as many potential buyers as possible, and for buyers to have the most accurate and up to date market listings.
